Pay Assessments

Your association provides many methods by which you may pay your assessments. Click a link below to review any of the payment methods offered.

Enrolling in Automatic Payments (ACH) allows Trestle to initiate assessment payments on your behalf from your chosen bank checking or savings account. Automatic Payments is among the most reliable, timely and secure methods by which to make your assessment payments and one of the least expensive payment methods for your association to process.

Why Enroll?

  • No checks to write.
  • Predictable, secure and timely assessment payments.
  • Choose to pay via your bank checking or savings account.
  • Set and forget. Once enrolled, so long as your banking information does not change, assessments will be automatically paid from your account. If your bank account changes, please notify Trestle.
  • Amount deducted automatically changes as your assessment changes.
  • So long as the required funds are available in your bank account, there will be no delinquent fees. If funds are not available, NSF and delinquent fees apply.
  • No charge. There is no charge for this service.

How to Enroll
Sign up through the My-Community Portal. Select the option Recurring Payments on the left-hand menu. Click the green New button, fill in the appropriate info and save the form to enroll.

If you want to make automatic payments, but need to make payments on your chosen schedule and/or pay from a credit card, see our Online Payments page.

Your association’s Web Portal interfaces with CIT’s (formerly Mutual of Omaha) website to make Online Payments. This allows you to initiate one-time assessment payments using your chosen bank or credit card account. This method is a variation of the payment option of CIT’s PropertyPay online payment system that pre-fills most of the account and property information on the form. Just like PropertyPay online payments, this arrangement is between you and your association’s bank. Neither your association nor Trestle has a role in setup or management of these payments and has no visibility of the arrangement.

Why Pay your Assessment via the Web Portal?

  • Most of your account and property information is pre-filled.
  • No checks to write.
  • Secure assessment payments.
  • Privacy. Trestle does not have your banking information.
  • Next day payments (not guaranteed). Most payments submitted online are received the following business day. Use the one-time payment if you ordinarily pay by personal check or bank bill-pay, but it’s too late to mail your payment in time to avoid a delinquent fee.

Key Features

  • Make a one-time payment.
  • Choose to pay via your bank account or a credit card. A convenience fee (currently $1.95 for bank transfers or 2.95% for card payments) will be charged by the bank for all payments. This is a charge by the bank, not Trestle. Cards accepted are Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express®. We cannot accept credit card payments over the phone.
  • Please refer to the bank’s Terms and Conditions linked at the bottom of each page of the Online Payments page.

The Portal is for one-time guest payments only. If you would like to set up recurring online payments, go to CIT’s site directly and create a login. Please see our Online Payments page for more information. If you need assistance with your CIT/Mutual of Omaha payments, please call CIT’s customer service at 1-866-800-4656, option 3.

Online Payments allow you to initiate assessment payments on your schedule and from your chosen bank or credit/debit card account. Payment of your assessment via CIT’s PropertyPay online payment system is among the most reliable and secure methods by which to make your assessment payments. This arrangement is between you and your association’s bank. Neither your association nor Trestle has a role in setup or management of these payments.

Why Pay Online?

  • No checks to write.
  • Predictable and secure assessment payments.
  • Privacy. Trestle does not have your banking information.
  • Next-day payments (not guaranteed). Use the one-time online payment if it’s too late to mail your payment in time to avoid a delinquent fee. Most payments submitted online are received the following business day.

Key Features

  • Ability to create a secure profile that stores your HOA account information and your payment methods. This is a one-time task that eliminates data entry for each payment. Creating a profile takes five to ten minutes.
  • Schedule recurring payments on your schedule. Pick a payment day that works for both you and your association. With a profile already created, it takes about two minutes. Stop recurring payments at any time.
  • Make a one-time payment without creating an account.

You will also need the following information to make payments, which can be found on your statement:

  • Account Number: Ten digit number, found on the top right corner of your monthly statement

If you want to make automatic payments, but want Trestle to set up and initiate payments for you, please visit the Automatic Payments page.

This payment option applies to payment by a bank bill-pay service and any check mailed (regardless of the source) that does not have a payment coupon enclosed.

Payment by bank bill-pay is a popular option and usually reliable. Keep in mind that each bank mails their checks from a different part of the country. Check with your bank for anticipated mail time from your bank to the HOA’s bank in Phoenix, AZ. Ensure that your scheduled date of payment allows enough time for the check to arrive in Phoenix by the assessment due date.

To avoid processing delays, please ensure that the face of the check includes at least 2 of the following 3 pieces of information.

  1. Owner’s name as provided to the association.
  2. Your account number with the association. Your account number appears on your payment coupon or statement.
  3. The full address of your property. Your mailing address is not sufficient.

The check must be payable to your association and mailed to the HOA’s bank at:

[Association Name]
PO Box 63843
Phoenix, AZ 85082-3843

Do not send payments to Trestle’s Bellevue office. Doing so will delay processing of your payment, create additional expense for the association and may result in a late fee to you. Checks mailed from Washington have recently taken 10 or more days to reach the bank. You are responsible for ensuring your payment arrives by the due date.

While this has been the traditional method of payment, it is also usually the slowest.

Personal checks should be accompanied by a payment coupon provided by Trestle Community Management and mailed in the envelope provided with the payment coupons. This enables the bank to efficiently process your payment and reduces the potential for processing delays.

If you send a check without a payment coupon, please ensure that the face of the check includes at least 2 of the following 3 pieces of information.

  1. Owner’s name as provided to the association.
  2. Your account number with the association. This account number appears on your payment coupon or statement.
  3. The full mailing address of your property.

Payments must be mailed to the bank at:

[Association Name]
c/o Trestle Community Management
PO Box 63843
Phoenix, AZ 85082-3843

Checks mailed from Washington have recently taken 10 or more days to reach the bank. You are responsible for ensuring your payment arrives by the due date. Do not send payments to Trestle’s office. Doing so will delay processing of your payment.
